Girl 1

China Girl

This is a drawing of a young China girl. I drew her portrait from another picture. At that time, I was just practicing drawing. I knew that I drew her face well. I liked her fancy hair, and her mouth. I redrew this portrait twice, I kept trying to do better for many days. I hope I will do better with water colors. I drew her while I was living in Phnom Penh. I felt very happy that I could draw a very nice picture.

Western Lady

This is a drawing of a Western lady, She is looking back, meaning she wants to remember her past and the times that she used to have. She has very nice, long hair. I drew her while I was studying in Phnom Penh. I feel very good when I see this picture, because I did not learn how to draw from anyone, but I made a very nice picture.

Cambodian Girl

This drawing is about a Cambodian girl. She looks like she is worried about something, but she dresses very nice, and has nice hair. I drew this picture when I had free time from school. Most of my drawings are portraits of ladies. This is why I have so many different lady portrait.

Indean Girl

This is a drawing that shows an Indian lady playing a stringed musical intrument. I saw her picture in a book that teaches about drawing and so I was practicing my art. I think she may be at a wedding party.

A Student

This is a drawing about a student. She is a very good student, and is a good daughter and has a good family life. She is always thinking about her future life. She does not want to waste her time on things that are not neccessary. She is very young, but she understands about problems in her society. I drew this picture hoping Khmer young people will be like her, and spend time with their studies. I hope they do not waste their time.

Pretty Girl

This drawing came from my imagination. I drew this while in school at Phnom Penh. I spent some time practicing with hair, and eyes, and dress design. She is a pretty girl, so she has an earring and jewelry.
